Marin Peer Resource Community Collective (MPRCC) is a peer-led organization rooted in lived experience and community connection. Our work focuses on consistent presence, relationship-based support, and resource connection for people navigating housing instability.

We document impact through peer engagement and outreach, and we distinguish clearly between programs organized by MPRCC and efforts supported through collaboration and community participation.

Impact Snapshot
MPRCC provided advocacy, peer support, and resource navigation to 41 individuals residing at Camp Compassion while they awaited housing. The majority have now maintained stable housing for several years, with only a small number continuing to request support. This work demonstrates our ability to engage individuals in transition, reduce barriers, and support long‑term housing stability.
Across Marin County, MPRCC delivers consistent, peer‑led engagement in partnership with community groups, individual community members, faith organizations, and service providers:

*12–18 individuals per week engaged through peer support at Skate Park community meals (partner‑organized)

*7–10 individuals per week supported at the Bethany Project shower and lunch program (partner‑operated)

*Monthly community dinners where MPRCC provides peer support alongside meals hosted by local churches, community groups, and individual community members

*Ongoing distribution of clothing, gear, hygiene supplies, and shoes, provided consistently for several years to support individuals living outdoors or in unstable conditions

*72 individuals reached during a one‑time San Rafael pop‑up supply outreach

*12 individuals supported at a church‑hosted community dinner

*Support provided through donated clothing and supplies at Seeds of Hope events, which are attended in an individual volunteer capacity and not organized, sponsored, or operated by MPRCC

*Community education outreach in collaboration with Marin Housing for All at the Novato Farmers Market

Collectively, these efforts highlight MPRCC’s role as a trusted peer‑support organization that strengthens service connections, supports housing stability, and reaches individuals who are often underserved by traditional systems.

Counts reflect peer engagement and outreach contributions. MPRCC does not claim ownership of independently operated programs.

Community Meals (Partner-Organized)

Weekly Skate Park community meals are independently organized by community members. MPRCC does not organize or operate these meals.

  • peer presence and relationship-building
  • emotional support and resource navigation
  • supplies when available
Shower & Lunch Program (Bethany Project)

For over a year, MPRCC has participated weekly in the Bethany Project shower and lunch program in partnership with the host organization.

  • peer engagement during services
  • emotional support and de-escalation when needed
  • resource navigation and follow-up connection
Monthly Community Dinner (MPRCC-Organized)

Once per month (one Wednesday), MPRCC coordinates and hosts a community dinner with volunteers and supporters, providing peer support and outreach during service.

Seeds of Hope (Partner-Led Outreach)

MPRCC supported Seeds of Hope events through donated supplies and peer presence. Events are organized and operated by partner organizations.

13 events × 75 minimum people per event = at least 975 people reached.

Lived Experience Advisory Board Participation

Jenn and Bambi serve on the Marin Lived Experience Advisory Board in their individual capacities. This participation reflects personal lived-experience representation and does not constitute formal representation or endorsement of MPRCC as an organization.

Supplies contributed by MPRCC for partner-led outreach (including Seeds of Hope) originate from community-supported outreach efforts and are provided independently of advisory board participation. MPRCC’s organizational activities remain separate from individual board service and advisory roles.
