Our History: A Decade of Advocacy and Community Support

The Marin Property Resource Community Collective (MPRCC) began as a movement for justice, equity, and empowerment. For over a decade, we have been at the forefront of advocacy, challenging policies, amplifying voices, and driving systemic change for Marin County’s most vulnerable populations. Our efforts encompass:

  • Policy and Government Engagement: Actively shaping local policies that impact housing, homelessness, and social equity.
  • Community Outreach and Casework: Collaborating with caseworkers, service providers, and peer advocates to bridge systemic gaps.
  • Political Activism and Advocacy: Holding governments and agencies accountable to ensure services are equitable and accessible.
  • Direct Support and Crisis Intervention: Serving those in need within encampments, shelters, and grassroots spaces.

In addition to these initiatives, for the past five years, MPRCC has organized clothing and adult continence supply drives, addressing essential needs within our community. These efforts have provided critical support to individuals lacking access to basic necessities, reflecting our commitment to dignity and care for all.

Our unwavering dedication to systemic change and direct action has led us to develop MPRCC’s Workforce Housing Initiative and Wellness Campus. Recognizing the inadequacies of existing systems, we are building innovative solutions that foster stability, community, and self-sufficiency.

This unwavering commitment to systemic change and direct action led us to develop MPRCC’s Workforce Housing Initiative & Wellness Campus—because we knew the system wasn’t working and it was time to build something better.
